Yesterday, the Cubs got a week's worth of runs against the San Diego Padres, the second absolute destruction of an opposing team by Chicago teams in as many weeks:
I've once again released a version of this application, the third in as many days, because the previous two releases didn't quite fix a really irritating problem loading the Edit page. This didn't affect anyone but me, fortunately. But I could only create and edit entries by running the app in my development environment, which I can't really take with me anywhere.
Chief Justice of the US John Roberts (R) must have decided he's OK being second only to Roger Taney in presiding over a Supreme Court not just athwart history, but obviously on the wrong side of it. Taney had Dred Scott and Prigg; Roberts already had Citizens United and Heller, and now has Slaughter and too many others to name.

We're packing up and heading home. Last night there were many burnt marshmallows and terrorized bunnies. Today, we hope for BBQ brisket in Ripon, Wis., and a quick stop at Mars Cheese Castle just before we hit the Illinois line.
