In other news:

- A former US State Dept official warns that the Democratic National Convention in Chicago this August is "read meat to Russian intelligence services."
- Traffic engineer Wes Marshall has released a new book blaming his industry for the carnage on American roads.
- Monochrome Brewing opened in Pilsen this weekend in the former Lo Rez Brewing space on Carpenter St.
