Traveling again

I'm flying out this evening for a couple of days in Seattle, where apparently we'll need SCUBA equipment on account of the rain. Today in Chicago, however, we have nearly-perfect weather, so I have no reason to complain yet.

In honor of our next Vice President, a dad joke apropos of Seattle's seemingly perpetual rain... A woman visits Seattle for the first time. It's raining as she takes a taxi to the hotel. It's raining the next morning when she leaves to tour the city and it rains all day. In fact, it rains the entire week she's visiting Seattle. Frustrated, one morning as she's waiting under an umbrella to catch a taxi, she spots a young boy nearby. "Excuse me? I was just wondering... is it always this rainy here?" "How should I know?" replies the boy. "I'm only six."
