Here it comes...

After one of the mildest November days in memory, the dreaded "wintry mix" has started to approach from the west:

Winter officially begins in 10 days, but it starts in Chicago tonight.

Here in the U.K., our weekend is going to be spopiled by a particularly deep low-pressure system coming in off the Atlantic.
